San Cristobal – Light Flavour
On the 16th November 1519, a small settlement was established in Cuba. The colonists wanted to name it San Cristobal (St Christopher) in honour of Christopher Columbus but the native Indians preferred the a word from their own language - La Habana. Thus San Christobal de La Habana was born, a small village that, with the passage of time, would become the beautiful, sensual, cosmopolitan city of Havana and the capital of Cuba.
